I love Sundays!! Why? Well because The Walking Dead is now
my only Sunday show so all my attention can go 100% towards watching and actually
paying attention. Since we've been back
the group is now dealing with the aftermath of the deaths of both Ty and Beth. I
was not expecting Ty to go this soon after Beth so I was still in mourning for
Beth when Ty was so cruelly taken from us.
But I digress...... now let’s get down to the nitty gritty talking points
- Beth…. The aftershocks of Beth are affecting Daryl and Maggie both for very different reasons.
- Daryl feels guilty for not getting back to her in time and not being able to save her.
- Maggie feels guilty for pretty much abandoning her and forgetting she even existed. Right fully so…. I have strong feelings about Maggie and they aren't good feelings either…. She walked through an entire tunnel of zombies for Glenn and left for DC with professor mullet. Only mentioning Beth like twice… She should feel guilty!
- Ty…. I think the aftershock of Ty is affecting Sasha more than anyone else.
- Sasha is torn because their relationship had become strained and she is still mourning for Bob. Both Bob and Ty were her connection to humanity and now they are both gone. Not to mention Ty had been her protector her whole life as her big brother and while Sasha can absolutely hold her own its nice to have your big brother there watching over you in the world they live in.
- I feel that Sasha and Maggie should lean on each other they could help each other deal with the grief. I am all for #Girlpower!!!
- Daryl as we know is the deal with stuff in silence type of guy.
- Who the hell is dude that looks like he just stepped out an LL bean catalog? Fresh shave, new jacket, new backpack, hair gelled to perfection like seriously Aaron is the cleanest character on the show since season one. He has everything applesauce, fresh water bottles, and his own damn house. HOW? I’m sorry but I just can’t trust a man that clean in times like that. Too damn good to be true.
- Our first gay character!!!! Yay!!
- I hope this does not turn into another Terminus situation.
