So this year.... yes I know I am late.... very late but nonetheless I finally discovered it. But so far this year I've 15 or so movies years via free screenings. I typically use these 3 sites

I check the site a few times a week. The free screenings are usually Monday through Thursday between 6 and 7:30 pm. Its especially good when you are not sure about a movie and you don't want to spend money to see it. It's a win/win situation!
Also good for the movie lover is Movies Pass 30/35 (depends on where you live) bucks a month and you get to see a movie practically everyday. So if you are like me and see 3 to 4 movies week then the membership paid for itself within a week. Only downsides are you can only see one movie in a 24 hour period. So if you see a movie Saturday at 10 pm then you will not be able to see another movie until Sunday at 10 pm. Also you can't see the same movie more than once. So if you are a repeater then this might not be for you or you could just pay out of pocket. Depending on how often you repeat movies. Movie Pass is definitely worth a check out.
